Maria Pasquale is the Author of I Heart Rome

Maria Pasquale is an award-winning food and travel writer based in Rome. Born in Melbourne, Australia, to Italian parents, she is the creator of the popular blog HeartRome with readers in over 100 countries. Maria contributes regularly to USA Today, CNN, Fodor’s, Architectural Digest, Fortune and The Telegraph.

In 2017, Maria published her first book I Heart Rome (Smith Street Books / Rizzoli) with recipes and stories from the Eternal City. Her next book, How to be Italian (Smith Street Books / Rizzoli), is due for international release in October 2021.
