Focaccia 🌱 Round White Pizza
Many regions in Italy use the word focaccia to describe a type of pizza that more often than not looks nothing like one another. That's the beauty of Italy, its uniquness! 😍
The focaccia we are sharing here is a plain white round pizza that you should prepare and bake first so that you can enjoy it while you're waiting for the rest of the pizzas to come out of the oven. That's how we have it in pizzerias in Rome, as an appetizer to quiet down hunger as we wait for the pizzas to arrive.
Use the basic pizza dough and divide it into a smaller portion of 250 g (8.8 oz) per focaccia. Then stretch the dough out into a round pizza. It's best to use a baking stone when preparing this focaccia!
